“Zuni”

“In many areas of the Rocky Mountains, the land is bear of vegetation, and Gene often said that he loved those areas because he could see the bones of the mountains… “Zuni” is the lead antelope from the group, presented as a solo animal.

As a hunter, Gene spent many Septembers scouting for pronghorn antelope. They are the swiftest of all North American antlered animals, and it was joyous to watch them race across the plains.”
