“Final Frontier represents an interesting departure for Ostrovsky since it refers not to the world of spying, but to the durable building boom which made Arizona the fastest growing state in the country. The woman is enjoying the solitude which comes with open range, but in the distance we see the city growing nearer. This is her Final Frontier. Ironically, the artist was reluctant to hang the original in his Scottsdale gallery because it didn’t seem a good fit with the Metaphors of Espionage collection. When it was finally hung, however, it sold within an hour.”
